What is a wander woman?
A wander woman is an individual that seeks adventure in outdoor spaces. They are someone that is comfortable with getting lost as that is an inevitable part of the journey.

A note about myself 💌
My name is Faith Ngo and I am a recent graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and English (Go Bruins 🐻). During my time here, I took several courses in visual design which sparked my journey to become a product designer! Outside of design, I spend my weekends climbing, hiking, or camping.
A quote I live by ⛰️
My dad used to tell me that “The best adventures start when you get a little bit lost”. I find this to be true in my work and personal life!
When did I realize I want to be a designer? ⚡
I was previously former educator of three years for middle school learners in special education and general education. During my time teaching, I noticed how virtual educational tools were nearly unusable for learners with disabilities due to lack of proper accommodations.
In an attempt to provide feedback on the design of these educational tools, I stumbled into the world of UX/UI. I realized that I wanted to do more than just provide my thoughts on opinions on the way these tools functioned. I wanted to be part of teams and communities that actively worked to design them.
What are my values as a designer? ✨
Joyful. Usable. Intentional.
I strive to make my work joyful, usable, and intentional. More recently, I have been challenging myself to solve problems critically to come up with thoughtful solutions. I am mindful to make each step of my design process purposeful by reflecting on what tools I can use to solve my problem and what their limitations are.
I want to be part of, and facilitate, communities that make space collaboration and mistakes. Always growing and reflecting, I am currently interested in learning about creating accessible design as well as the social implications of design work. I truly believe that, what is necessary for some, is valuable for all.
